Had the awesome privilege of partnering with ballet met and attending Cinderella. This was always a movie that I used to watch as a child and made me want to be a princess lol. It's often great to see the same story in different forms, plays, musicals, movies, and even ballets. This story started by showing how the mother of Cinderella dies and her father re-marries. Her now gaining two step sisters and a step mother who isn't very nice to her. Jealousy can really make people act in ways they said they never would. The fairy god mother comes in poor form and the family treats her poorly. Only Cinderella is nice to her.
The story goes on where the prince is hosting a ball and requests all of the maidens in the kingdom to come. Her step mother forbids her to go. Cinderella gets a visit and is beautified by her fairy god mother and is ready for the ball.
Sometimes in life things happen and we don't know why. People treat us bad and we don't understand why. The important thing is not to lose who you are in the process.
Even after all the bad that happened in the beginning she still remained herself. What if she didn't? What if she treated her family worse or even the same as they treated her? Now royal or not, that wouldn't have made her
We often joke around a lot because my father always calls us princesses and my brother prince. Yes it is funny, but when you really think about it, we are royalty. How?, because our father Jesus is the king. If you're going through something, or in a state of life that you did not put yourself in remember this, stay humble, stay prayerful, your time is coming.
It's amazing to me how we can walk away with life lessons from something that we watched aa children for entertainment purposes. This ballet was amazing. From the beginning, it was great . You had to he there. I got to sit close and observing the set was something I did very closely and it was amazing. The transitions were great. I loved how they included children in the ballet. They were little bumble bees and it was very funny and cute! How lucky are they tp be able to dance amongst some of our city's best performers. It is always great to be able to see a story with no words, just music and dancing. If you didn't get to enter this time, there will be more giveaways, stay tuned!
