Being Married, it's so nice to have someone who can pour out wisdom into you. We always say experience is the best teacher, and who better to learn from than people with experience. After we got married, someone who I look up to in marriage told me "always have a date night". Even if you're not doing anything, just being together. The funny things is we both live a busy life. With work, church, and everything else it can sometimes be hard for people to find time for each other. Even though we are together in many of our busy activities, we still have to find time for each other. Sometimes that means saying "no" to certain things. While that's not always easy, we have to put each other first. We go out, but we have our set date night on the same day every week. Sometimes we're just sitting at home watching a movie, other times we're going out to dinner, movies, ect. This past week I had the honor of partnering again with ballet met. We got to double date and see "By Liang", by Edward Liang.

Previously, my husband wasn't really into ballets, he says mainly because he didn't understand them. The last two we've went to he's loved and even tells me things that I didn't see or recognize. After a long day, this is one of the most relaxing things you can do. Not only did we enjoy each performance, but we enjoy how professional the performances always are. We all talked about how great the performers are, and how much perfected quality they show through their work. The performances and music were very diverse and captivating.
My favorite part of the entire performance was the performance titled "Wunderland", inspired by Liangs' time in Siberia. I remember watching a movie called "Snow globe". In the movie the globe became reality, and that's exactly how I felt during this performance. Relaxed and in comfort. I have so much respect for this art, and am thankful that there are people that love to do it. If you are married, remember to take some time for just the two of you, or double date with friends. Find things to do that you normally wouldn't do. Try them together, you might find that you enjoy it.
If you didn't get to enter this time, stay tuned, there will be more giveaways to come!
