Do you know Love?

Matthew 22: 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Love if not thee most important ,is one of the most important things that we will ever learn in life. Why ? Because it is and comes from God and everything else branches off from it.

Sometimes I think we mistake tolerating people for loving people. Yes our actions might not always show bad things, but what about what's inside? We can be pleasant on the outside, but have hearts that are dirty, filthy and rude. Some say you might as well say it if you think it, but sometimes, that's not such a good idea lol.

There's a scripture that says man looks at our outward appearance, but God looks at the heart. People see our outward exterior, but unless God shows them they don't see what goes on inside of our hearts and minds. When it comes to the way that we react and feel about things, we must daily evaluate and allow God to examine our hearts. Anything in our hearts that's not of him becomes a hinderance in our relationship with him.

In this text he commands us to love him first and then love our neighbor as ourself. We have to know love to be able to love ourselves and give love. So I ask you, do you know love? Do you know Jesus, or do you just know of him? It's okay to be honest because that's the first step. He desires for you to be able to experience him and his unconditional love, accept it so that you can give it while being a pure representation of him.
