Have you moved yet?

Psalm 51: 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

A lot has changed over the years. A lot of people say that they believe in things, but don't live a life that expresses the same. Sometimes I feel like people use religion, almost like a cup of coffee "a pick me up". They say they believe in God because going to church and hearing scripture makes them "feel good", but the truth is there is no change taking place in their lives. It's almost like a merry go round, going and going, everything still in the same place, and not going anywhere. The music playing, making you feel like you're in a magical place, but when the ride stops you realize you haven't gone anywhere.

I don't know about you, but if I didn't believe in God, wanted to know about him and saw people living like that, I wouldn't want to serve him. Who would want to serve someone you claim gives you joy, but you're always miserable? Who would want to serve someone who you say can do anything, yet you claim there's never any hope? We do so many things, promote so many things on social media, in what we wear, in what we talk about, but what does our life really promote? What do we really believe aside from what we say? I encourage you today to really think about that. It isn't something to be afraid of as long as you're willing to change.

When we say we believe in something, we ought to put our all into it. We say as Christians that we desire to see others saved, but the truth is are we? This walk is daily, not hourly. It's always been important, but in a time like this its so important and critical. If you want to see change, daily allow God to change you first. Represent him well, so that when people see you, come into contact with you, they are excited about knowing what it is, who it is that makes you different.
