11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
Have you ever thought about something, and then thought to yourself..."okay I'm thinking way too much". I find it so amazing that before the earth was God was and things now were already planned. I heard a pastor recently say this. We serve a God that lives outside of time, while we live in time. When we are going through things, he's smiling because he knows that we are going to make it, that we're going to grow from it and more. He said it's kind of like when you've watched a movie before and you know whats going to happen next. You watch it with another person and while they're worried, you're calm because you know exactly what is going to happen.
God didn't promise that life would be easy. But, he did promise that he would never leave us nor forsake us. Because of us being human, the way that God created us and living in this earthly life, there are certain things that we have to go through to grow. Let's use plants and animals as an example. Of course there are manmade things that can enhance their growth a lot quicker, but it's a very unnatural and unhealthy process. Sometimes when things get hard, you just have to say to yourself "okay God, I know that you've equipped me for this". What am I supposed to be learning from it?
If you could see your journey from beginning to end, destination to destination, then there would be no point in trusting God. The best part is knowing the one who knows the beginning to the end and end from the beginning. This text says that you will find him when you search for him with all of your heart. We can all admit that's something we have to get better at. What you daily take in is what you have to work off of. If it's bad music, tv shows, gossip, or frustration. None of those are good things to build your strength or fall back on. However Gods Word is. Even if you don't understand it, just find some time to sit and read, pray and ask him to speak to you and help you understand. When you're in a friendship or relationship, you don't always know everything about that person. As you spend time with them, they begin to reveal themselves to you. It's the same with God, but so much greater!
