Heading back to Hotel Leveque

"All things luxury" when it comes to Hotel Leveque!

If you've followed me for a while, you got a chance to see moments from my stay last year! Considering my husband was sick, we couldn't have asked for a better time. This year when we went he had just had back surgery, so we were looking forward to the relaxation and rest.

As a kid I watched movies like "home alone" that featured high class hotels that some only dream about. When I visit a hotel I am looking for several things. Great customer service, good food and most of all, top of the line cleanliness. A home away from home is what some would call it.

My stay this time was different, but in a whole new way. Still amazing ! The lady at the front desk not only welcomed us back, but was was super engaging with us beyond superficial conversation. I can be that one that sometimes asks a lot of questions and she showed not one sign of impatience lol.

Some say the best part about their stay is the "bed". Mine was the amazing "walk in" shower. Guys I took a 45 minute shower, maybe even longer. My husband was not a huge fan of the big shower until he tried it for himself. Not to mention it was great acoustics for singing lol. I love it when you are able to go places and find ideas for the home that you want! The toilet and sink (shown above) have completely different rooms than the shower, which makes it easy for more than one person to be in the restroom at a time ! Lighting is so important to me in decor and this bright fun filled bathroom was a welcomed paradise.

With how busy we are sometimes , It was great to once again just relax. At some hotels check out time can be as early as 8:00 and I loved the noon check out time here. Gives a girl time to sleep in! Let's be real, no one that's been working or traveling wants to have to get up super early unless they have to catch a flight. The amazing curtains (shown above) make it easy if you're someone like us that like to keep the light out when we're sleeping . But when you open them you get a beautiful view of downtown Columbus, Ohio.
