Scavenger Hunt!

Being open to/for more of God doesn’t just mean feeling his presence . It means being open and surrendered to his plan, following his direction and walking in obedience . Realizing that you’re here because of him and through him you can do all things that he’s called you to.

There is absolutely nothing like being in Gods presence. It's one of those things that is hard to describe in words because of all that you experience, see, feel, hear and more. Oftentimes, we get so caught up in "feeling good", that we pray for more of that feeling, forgetting about God himself.

We often tell God, "you have all of me"."Whatever you ask I'll do", but do we really mean it? If he tells us to go, will we go? If he tells us to give, will we? If he tells us to sit back, will we? Unfortunately responding to these questions with "no" by our actions ultimately place hinderances in Gods plan for our life. God is so amazing that the Bible says that his ways are past finding out. The only real way to get to know him is to spend time with him, and the only way to move forward is to surrender.

Have you ever been on a scavenger hunt? You have a destination to reach , but you have to follow direction to reach each clue that will ultimately lead you to that final destination. If you choose not to follow the clues, you find yourself off course, late and sometimes lost until someone comes to find you. While God does come to find us when we are lost, if we can help it we don't want to be. People, emotions, situations and more can all be a distraction to Gods plan in and for our life, but are they worth going off course?

I don't know about you, but don't want to get lost, or stuck at the first clue. I want to encourage you by telling you that whatever God requires do it. In reality it might feel hard, feel live you're giving up something, but you can do it. He wouldn't require it if it were impossible. If you could only see the other side of your obedience, you would probably do it in a heartbeat, but then there would be no point in trusting God.

It's his will, his plan. Are you ready?
