Smile Fearlessly!

Have you ever heard people say" your smile means a lot?". That statement is so very true. Not necessarily for other people, but for yourself. Confidence is everything! My teeth weren't in terrible condition, but the thought of whitening definitely has crossed my mind a couple of times, but it's so expensive. There were some times that I tried different toothpastes, and gels, but never before an actual kit like the one I'm going to tell you about. I made up in my mind that one day I would ask my dentist about it, but never got around to it lol.

How did I feel before whitening?I was slightly nervous at first, because I know that all of these things come with risks. However, It came with everything and clear directions. A mold so that you can have your very own tray to fit your teeth, whitening, gel for sensitivity and even the brush so you don't have to use your fingers.

Does whitening take up too much of your time? While this is something that I love, you do have to set aside time daily to whiten. I am a multitasker so my favorite time to whiten is at night. In the evening time is usually when I am getting a lot of things done, so during that time I do my whitening, and then my gel and I am good for the night. I've found whitening better at night also because I wouldn't have to worry about eating after a certain time. So I would say no, it doesn't take up my time because it's good time that I'm investing.

Did I have insecurities about my teeth? I would say yes and no. I have always had a white patch on my teeth that I didn't like very much. Also a slight off white tint that others may not have clearly seen, but I saw clearly. While I'm not insecure about my smile, I just always wished my teeth were a little whiter.

How do I feel now? I still feel like myself with a little more confidence in my smile. My teeth feel great and I've even received some compliments without people knowing that I've whitened. Whitening has also showed me how much on a daily basis I need to be sure to take very good care in my daily dental routine.
