Trust!

Prov.3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Sometimes we find ourselves in a place where we just don't know. Not necessarily in a bad place, but more like at crossroads. Making life changing decisions are not always easy and of course you always want to be sure that you make the right one. But how do you know what the right one is? Sometimes I can be a bit of a perfectionist. Before I do something, or start engaging in something, I like to make sure that I am fully prepared. Like moving to a different city for instance. In your home town, you might be comfortable. You know everyone, how things work, where places are and may have already established yourself. If you have to end up moving however, you start all over. You meet new people, find new places, and find a new comfortable place. Sometimes, wanting things perfect can be a good thing. Sometimes, however, not so good. If you're always focused on being perfect, what's the point in trusting or taking a risk? As time has passed, through experience and great advice, I've learned that you don't know unless you try! When it comes to being a "perfectionist" and wanting everything exactly right before trying something 9 times out of 10 that won't happen. Experience is one of the greatest teachers. Now that doesn't mean that you shouldn't do your research and enhance your gifts, but you have to relax. God said to trust him for a reason. Sometimes we will have an idea of where we are headed, sometimes we won't. As I stated in a previous blog, the best way to be prepared for when you arrive, is to prepare daily. Reading, praying, fasting, and spending time with God. He didn't intend for you nor me to live a stressful life, always worrying and always trying to plan the future. He has a plan. Sometimes we will feel like we don't know what to do, confused and even tired, "we're human". But, don't let that be your excuse for remaining where you are. God has a plan, and we have desires, and if we have a relationship with him, our desires should naturally come from his plan. In this text, it states "trust in the lord with all thine heart". The only way to fully trust someone with your heart, is to give it to them. If you haven't already, giving God your heart will 100% guarantee master care! When yo give someone your heart, you don't worry because you trust them. Even as I am writing this now, it's helped me to examine myself. Do I fully trust God? Does God completely have my heart? That must be something that we ask ourselves every single day, because there will be things that challenge that. When you find yourself at that crossroads

, sometimes you just have to wait, and trust. Be prepared, because you never know what great things lie ahead at the next road you'll take!
