Who are you? Refer To Your Maker!

At any point in your life have you ever wondered "who am I",? Or "why am I here"? "What am I here for"?A lot of people do! Trust me you are not the only one. Looking back I realized how much I lived a selfish life. Doing what I wanted to do, to cater to how I felt or what I wanted. We laugh sometimes at how babies act to get their way, but sometimes as adults we do the same things. We justify the things that we do in so many ways that go against Gods word. Settling for being someone who wants benefits from God, but doesn't want to do any of the work.

Let's think logical for a second. Before anything was God was. He decided to make us for himself. So....as crazy as it might sound one day it really clicked for me, and it does the more that I say it. If he created me, what better one to find out who I am, than from the creator himself. He gave us his word, but we have to read it, we have to pray it, and we have to believe it. So many identity crisis situations can be avoided generationally if someone decides to take root in Christ.

There are so many confused about their purpose, sexuality, gender, and so much more. God says that he isn't the author of confusion. When you're not the creator, you don't get to choose the purpose for a thing. To get the best use out of it, you find out from the maker the purpose of a thing and how to use it. It's the same way with God.

He's always waiting to show you who you are and who he is, daily. We have many different people with amazing gifts and talents, but that's not who you are. Our gifts are non returnable instruments that God has given us to lead and draw people back to him. Do you ever wonder why things aren't working out? Why you have moments, but no consistency in a good life? You might find out that the life you're living isn't authorized. You might be popular, have millions of followers, rich in this life. But without God, you're nothing. We're not justified by our works, but by faith. Which comes by hearing, which comes by the word, which you have to read to find out who you are. In a world where man has taken their authority overboard, right is wrong and wrong is right. You have to remember that no matter what you want, how you feel, or what you think, there's a way to this life. The only way to be successful in it and receive all and not parts of the promises are to 1. Get to know Jesus 2. Do what he says and watch him show you who you are ! Trust me, things, you will begin to function a whole lot better.
