Whose vision is it now?

Proverbs 29:18

18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

A lot of us dreamed about what we wanted to be when we grew up. A doctor, a nurse, singer, author, pastor, but how many of us can actually say that we are now operating in what we first dreamed about. Sometimes yes desires did change, but other times we gave up because we didn't think those things were possible. Whether it was because of money, people, or just seemed too hard to accomplish. God gives us desires, but sometimes because we don't spend enough time with him, we don't know that those desires came from him and we take over. We pray for God to bless the things we are doing, but we don't allow him to guide us. As is states in James faith without works is dead, but ...we have to know what our works should be. There's so much that God desires to show us, tell us and make things easier for us, but we don't position ourselves in a place to hear from him.

We make so many plans for Gods vision that don't include him. You might think, how is that possible? We do it every single day! Just like many designers, he has the blu print and knows every part of the plan, and every detail. He's always working on your and my behalf and we have to trust that.

In the end of our text, it says that happy is he who keeps the law. When we have the basics down, things flow easier, because we realize that It's Gods vision.

One of my prayers recently has been for whatever God desires for me, that I will begin to desire those very same things. Provers 3:5-6 is a scripture that tells us to trust in God with all of our heart and not to lean unto our own understanding, BUT in all of our ways to acknowledge him and he will direct our paths. Every vision and desire that God has given me, given you, he has a plan and ways of making it come to pass. It's okay to be excited , but you have to daily commune with God. Daily give, not only of yourself, but everything that he's given you. You have to ask God to help you to get to a place where you truly realize that there is no YOU without him. Worrying is not something that you have to do, because he put the vision and desire in your heart, he will make it come to pass. Be faithful over the few things so that he can make you ruler over many.
