You can do anything!

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Someone once said, "you can do anything that you put your mind to". As cliche as it may sound, the statement is so very true! Inside each and every one of us God has placed amazing dreams. To be chefs, teachers, designers, singers, and more all to glorify him. People often think that you just have to have a role in church to lead people to Christ. The truth is, you have to have Christ to lead people to himself.

There are many dreams that I have, but let's just talk about one today. Dreams don't always start when you're a child, sometimes they come as you get older. I never dreamed of blogging or fashion blogging as a little girl, it just wasn't my thing. Just in the last year because of my love foe fashion, I've found myself wanting to take pictures in clothes. Knowing how we can be sometimes, I felt like it would be too easy for me to get wrapped up in my image and needed to find something to do with it. So I thought, why not use this as an opportunity to tell people about Jesus? They can see the outside, but why not use this as an opportunity to let them know about what's going on inside? And that's how I started.

I've learned so much just over the past year. I've had successes and things that I've learned from, but haven't stopped. If I could give one piece of advice from it, it would be don't give up. Sometimes it can be so easy to compare yourself to others. But instead of comparing, learn from them. It's okay to ask for help and advice, just don't loose yourself in the process. There have been moments that I've wanted to stop because of feeling discouraged, but I can't because this is something that I love to do.

The moment you begin tp focus on yourself is when you remove God out of the equation, and because he gave you the dream, you can't forget that you need him. I used to be a person that wanted to be perfect before I started something, now knowing that the perfection is the change and growth that is constantly taking place in the process.

So the next time you want to give up remember, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!
