You don't need to know everything!

Romans 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

Sometimes I've found myself always trying to figure things out. As a child my dad said that I always wanted to know why? Why this?, Why that? When he did answer my questions, I would ask why again lol. Yeah it is funny, but it can also be the start to a bad habit. There have been things that have happened in my life and I found myself asking that question again. Why did God let this happen?, Why didn't he stop it?

The bible says that our trials come to make us stronger and I understand that so much more now. No matter what we go through, God is sovereign. He doesn't change, and in our human minds, sometimes that's very hard to understand. I was just talking with some friends about how sometimes if we acknowledge a thought, our minds can take us somewhere we we've never been before, into some dangerous territory. Remember when your parents used to tell you "because I said so" and we just had to trust what they said? It's the same way with God. The amazing thing about him is no matter what happens, he works all things for our good, because we love him and are the called according to "his purpose". It's his purpose, his plan, he's our father and we're his children.

So when you find yourself wondering, don't. It's okay to tell God how you feel, but don't allow your mind to take you off into a valley somewhere. When great things happen, don't question those either. Remember you're his child and the bible says a joint heir with Christ. You're of royal heritage! Align yourself with the word, and the blessings of the lord will overtake your life!

You will never know everything, but the only way to get to know something is by spending time with it. Spend time with Jesus everyday because there's always more he wants to show and tell you.
